Overall a good day, especially considering that today was an options expiration day, which most automated programs really struggle with.
I introduced a new chart today. Its another version of the 7:30 Russell chart... this one starts at 7:27 EST (6:27AM CST) and takes a trade then has to get out before 9:55 AM EST (8:55 AM CST). It is tuned to take profits quicker. The back-testing shows that it is approximately 76% accurate... We will see. It made a tidy profit on its first day of live trading.
I will post the weekly total results in another posting shortly....
Today's Action:
A small winner for the S&P in a really sideways market
This is the new kid on the block - it's nice to start with a winner. I tuned this chart a few weeks ago and it has been running very well. I needed to open a new sub-account to be able to trade multiple charts on the Russell at the same time - that got finished last night so I decided to let it trade live. I have high hopes for this chart.
The new version of the 7:30 Russell chart continues to perform well
The 11:15 Russell chart, like the S&P was stuck in a sideways market.
