04-30-2015 April Month end Results

This is the first official losing month for my little project - not earth shattering, but considering that I was up over $4K during the month its not great either. Both charts had issues near the end of the month - and I see that the last week of every month has had draw down issues - hmmmm - maybe there is a correlation... something to think about over the weekend.

This Month's Results - April 2015:

The portfolio lost $1687.20 this month, mostly due to an ugly last week of the month that lost $4700

Also, there were two experimental charts that I ran early in the month... that together lost $3K - the ES-5m-727AM and the EMD-5m-826AM. In hindsight, both of these charts would have made up their loss if I had let them run for the entire month - in fact, combined, they would have made about $3500 in profit. There are other reasons why I left those charts off which I won't go into here - but it does make a strong statement about the process that I'm using to decide to turn certain charts on - that decision needs to be combined with a commitment to run it for at least a month unless it totally breaks down.
